Trash Pickup From Republic Services

The city of Fair Oaks Ranch has contracted with Republic Services to provide weekly trash/recycle services and bi-annual bulk/brush pickup.   For the bulk/brush pickup, in advance of each event, customers will receive a flyer indicating the date by which items can be first put out, and the last date items can be set out for pick up. In addition, the city provides one day each year for household hazardous waste disposal.  See the detail city descriptions for each service here. Fair Oaks Ranch Homeowners Association (FORHA) provides for an annual shred day usually in the spring.  The link to FORHA events is here. 

Trash and recycled item pickup are Monday here in Cibolo Trails. Both are contracted through Republic. The large blue tote and the recycle tote (blue container with light blue lid) are both provided. Our ByLaws state that you cannot store the trash bin where it is visible from the street. Also please put out both items late Sunday or early Monday a.m.

The following recyclable materials are currently accepted by Republic Services and can be placed in your recycling bin for curbside pickup:

• Cardboard - FLATTENED BOXES
• Cereal Boxes
• Glass Bottles – WITH LIDS
• Household Plastic 1 - WITH LIDS (ALL PLASTIC BOTTLES ETC.)
• Household Plastic 2
• Household Plastic 3
• Household Plastic 4
• Household Plastic 5 
• Household Plastic 6
• Household Plastic 7
• Magazines
• Milk & Juice Cartons – RINSED OUT WITH LIDES
• Mail
• Paper
• Paperboard
• Phonebooks
• Pizza Boxes – EMPTY OF COURSE
• Steel Cans

The following are NOT currently accepted by Republic Services as recyclable materials and may not be placed in your recycling bin for curbside pickup:
 

• Plastic Bags – PLEASE NO PLASTIC BAGS TAKE THOSE TO HEB OR WALMART
• Polystyrene Containers
• Styrofoam Peanuts or Packing
• Tissue Paper OR Kleenex
• Wax Coated Cardboard
